Blanching at all the prospects

A semi-white night for me tonight; less the bright, stark white of the purposeful stayawake and more the dim, misty grey of the worried insomniac. At least it’s given me the opportunity to get ahead with one or two bits and pieces, like (of all things) travel insurance for the most complicated journey of my life in just under two weeks, and also pack bits and pieces for the surprise house move we’ve had foisted upon us in just over two months’ time. And, astonishingly, I found my EHIC card. Nobody finds their EHIC card.

Incidentally, if anyone knows of a good way of getting house contracts to and from a foreign country for urgent signatures, then do let me know. It’s as well to be prepared. DHL?
